Our Story

The Effin' Texan Clothing Company wasn't started because Texas needed another t-shirt brand.

It was started because being Texan is more than where you're from.

It's how you live.

It's getting up early and staying late. It's shaking hands and keeping your word. It's standing on your own two feet, taking responsibility for yourself, and helping your neighbors when they need it. It's hard work, family, freedom, faith, music, dirt roads, backroads, small towns, big dreams, and knowing that some things are worth defending.

We're proud of where we come from, and we're proud of the people who wear our brand.

Every design we create is inspired by the people, places, attitudes, and traditions that make Texas different. Some designs are funny. Some are rebellious. Some are patriotic. All of them are unapologetically Texan.

Unlike many apparel brands, we don't just put Texas on our shirts—we live it every day.
