We are a new, family-owned clothing brand based in Brownsboro, Texas…we are extremely proud of our Texanism (maybe even a little obnoxious about it)…we produce badass products on high-quality shirts (and hats and coffee mugs and can-coolers!)…and we absolutely love our customers!
After a lot of years in the "corporate" world, it was time for a change and to chase our dreams. We decided on a clothing brand because we can't always find shirts and stuff that truly expresses our attitudes...so we created one! We promised ourselves that we would never sacrifice quality, and we have stayed true to that promise. We also wanted to have fun with whatever we were doing, and we have achieved that goal, too!
Our clothing is top-notch (super soft 100% Combed AND Ring Spun Cotton...no "chafing" and rough shirts here), well-constructed, comfortable, and relaxed-fit...just the way a tee shirt should be), our hats are high-end Richardson 112's, and our merchandise is...well...solidly constructed (it's a coffee mug, and it doesn't leak, so...). We decided to only do Black Shirts and White Shirts for our "General Line", but there are occasionally different colors offered for "Special" designs. Our designs are meant to express the Texan attitude, with a bit of humor, maybe some sarcasm, and always a level of "bad-assery"...
The name "The Effin' Texan" comes from the way that a co-worker referred to me a long time ago, but it is a pretty common term for those that are Texans...and we wear it as a badge of honor! And while Effin' Texans usually live in Texas or were born in Texas, not everybody is that lucky...if you possess the rugged individualism, roll-your-sleeves-up-and-get-it-done mentality that made Texas what it is, you could be an Effin' Texan! Unless you get offended by pronouns...those people aren't even close to being Effin' Texans, even if they were born and raised in Texas!!!
So that is a bit about us and the brand. There will certainly be more info to come, and we are probably going to offend some people, but that is okay. This world needs more Texas Attitude!
